How does it work?
The skin cells are frozen to a temperature of around -27 degrees C. At this temperature, the cells die. The body produces histamines to heal the area treated as part of the wound healing process. As part of this process a small scab usually forms which then drops off revealing the newly formed and healed skin underneath. The whole process usually takes between 4-6 weeks but is often quicker.
